... by looking after your environment using my website finder
I love the English coutryside and ideally would like to keep it that way, using my finely honed website finder techniques I have reviewed a bunch of sites to help you do your bit:
- Blue Badge - disability awareness training. Disability Awarness Training to help businesses better understand and assist those with disabilities.
- Cash for Cans - aluminium can recycling. An interactive site where you can find out where to recycle.
- Crocus - garden equipment. A well built and easily navigable site with lots of garden furniture, house plants and the like.
- DEFRA - dept. for env, food and rural affairs One of the better goverment sites. If you (farmers or townies) have any queries about what we are doing with our surroundings in this country, this will at the very least give you an email address to rant at.
- DEPIS - Drug Education and Prevention Information Service Set up for providers of drug education and prevention in schools and local communities. A lot of good sensible information on the reality of drug use and it's dangers.
- Evergreens UK - artificial grass Live in a flat with only a balcony? Get some green in your life with artificial grass, home putting greens, artificial box hedge, golf tee mats and custom entrance mats for gardens patios and displays.
- Great Dixter - a beautiful garden. Replace that used oxygen by growing beautiful gardens, that also aid relaxation, worth a look at the nursery section.
- Info-Kampagne Wespenspinne An initiative that combines nature conservation and tourism, and offers international guided tours about the beautiful wasp spider (site in German).
- Royal Institute of British Architects - everything architecture. A well designed, funnily enough, site with loads of information all about the big caves we live, work and play in.
- Save Energy - do a bit yourself. How badly behaved is your home? A brilliantly interactive site with competions and more, related to energy conservation, that everyone of us can take part in.
- UK Biodiversity - wildlife conservation promotion. Coverage of local plans and their reports. Plus contact and lots of guidance notes, news and documents.
