- www.foodsmatter.com An invaluable monthly support magazine for anyone suffering from a food allergy/intolerance or living on a restricted diet, whatever the cause.
- Health insurance - Medical insurance Private Medical Insurance and private health insurance to large and small companies, individuals, families and couples.
- 5 A Day - healthy eating fun for kids. Run by an American Food manufacturer but one of the few fun sites for kids that promotes the 'eat 5 portions a day' trick.
- Allergy Advice - allergy treatment. Info on antihistamines to help with hayfever symptoms, dust and pet allergy.
- Healthy Living Site - A guide to healhty living and travel advice.
- British Nursing Association - nursing jobs in the UK. A great site for nursing jobs and care employment online.
- Click2Quit - help stop smoking. "A tailored help quit smoking treatment, combined with stop smoking aids (nicotine replacement therapy) to put you in control".
- Configure - accessibility auditing. A friends site: "Full service providers for accessibility auditing, equipment and equality training."
- EJOM - The European Journal of Oriental Medicine. The journal of the British Acupuncture Council, go on, get stuck in!
- DEPIS - Drug Education and Prevention Information Service. Set up for providers of drug education and prevention in schools and local communities. A lot of good sensible information on the reality of drug use and it's dangers.
- Diabetes UK - everything diabetic. Charity working for people with diabetes. They fund research, campaign and help people to live with the condition.
- Food Standards Agency - independent food safety watchdog. Reams of informative/scary info on labelling, hygiene, GM food and the like.
- Glutafin - coeliac disease advice. Recipes for a wheat free diet for coeliac disease sufferers.
- Harley Medical - cosmetic surgery. A nice site that isnt too pushy. Read about laser hair removal, breast enlargement, nose cosmetic surgery and where to find a plastic surgeon in the UK.
- healthnet - info on coronary disease prevention. Not the most easily navigable site but lots of info on diet, exercise, smoking and stress.
- International Institute for Clinical Nutrition - nutrition & health info. Emphasising the role that nutrition can play in positively influencing clinical conditions.
- Lucinda Ellery - hair loss and hair extensions. I think that looking good can be a good ego boost, so if u just fancy getting some new hair, or if you have trichotillomania and want hair replacement, this company isnt too bad (a 'friend' of mine can vouch for them).
- Mayfair Nurses - London nursing jobs A recruitment site for a wide range of nursing jobs in London.
- Migraine Advice - help for severe headaches. Oweeeeeeeeeee. Run by Pfizer but a good resource for migraine causes and medications.
- Pinnacle - health care insurance. A health care plan with a difference - it's affordable health insurance without paying for what you aren't likely to need, but are, such as cheap glasses insurance. Also do pet insurance.
- Student Health - student health matters. Written by NHS GPs, printable advice leaflets, self help groups - updated weekly.
- Trufree - food allergy info. For food intolerance such as egg, milk and wheat allergies.
